Move Your Ash Meeting
Devers Elementary School
April 23, 2003 7 pm

Discussion of retainer agreement finds many questions that must be answered by the attorneys. Some of these are answered below. If you have any other questions, feel free to e-mail the attorneys, address below. Retainer agreement tabled for more study.

Guest Speaker- Larry Yates of the Center for Health, Environment, and Justice (Love Canal Group) speaks on applying political pressure.

Key Points-
Pressure on PaDEP, Sen Waugh, Rep. Mackareth, York County Solid Waste Authority, and West Manchester Twp.

Bring County Commissioner Candidates to MYA meeting and ask them for their position on the ash piles and facility.

Use CONSISTENT political pressure

Create Task Committees

Get Move Your Ash Yard Signs made ($393 for 100 signs)

Prepare confidential survey including health, property effects, and any other information

Create an Ash Fact Sheet

Have a web page on CCIP's website with links from neighborhood websites

After Larry Yates' talk we formed committees for the following tasks:
